It is our great honor and pleasure to announce the 4th International Feline Medicine Association Congress will be held at Selectum City Hotel Ataşehir in Istanbul between 21-22 November 2024. We are looking forward to a succcessful congress full of science and up-to-date information about feline medicine, just like previous congresses.
 
When we take a look at the history of our congress, we have had some world renowned speakers such as Jolle Kirpenstein, Craig Clifford, Jerzy Gavor, Elsa Bertran, David Maggs, whose fame has crossed borders. The honorary president of our congress will be Johan van Tilburg, former president of FECAVA.
 
As you got accustomed to seeing in previous KHEDİ congresses, you will witness the duel of invited speakers as well as traditional top notch keynote lectures in our main meeting room. We will have chance to catch the "Straitjacket Session" chaired by Prof. Duygu Dalğın and her surprise guests with great pleasure and excitement.
 
In the Prof.Dr.Tuncay Altuğ session which we started last year, we will be proud to host one again young veterinarian presenter candidates. We will offer various workshops for a limited number of colleagues who wish to improve their skills with hands-on practice.
 
As you might have noticed, all KHEDİ congresses so far has been organized in İstanbul. We do have an alterior motive when selecting İstanbul, which is to organize European and Balkan Feline Medicine Congresses in the near future. It is our main objective to bring in international scientists and provide the best possible scientific program for our colleagues in the region.
 
The organizing committee, basing on the definition of "health" as a state of physical, mental and social well-being and not just being "not sick", has selected the motto of the congress as "Pisiko Cat", focusing on feline psychiatry which we believe and important part of feline health.
 
The Board of Directors of the Feline Medicine Association and I, as the new congress president, would like to say "see you soon" with the hope that you can take part in this great congress.

Abstract Submission Deadline: 13 October 2024
All abstract submissions should be made through our online abstract system, abstract submitted via e-mail will not be evaluated.
Abstract Submission Guidelines:

• You can submit your abstracts for either oral or poster presentation to be presented in the 3rd International Congress of Feline Medicine Association.
• Original studies, case studies and clinical studies can be submitted. 
• Each participant can submit a maximum of 1 poster and 1 oral abstracts. 
• Abstract presenter should complete their registration in order for their abstract to be evaluated. 
• Do not use abbrevations in abstract title. The abstract title should reflect the content of your study. 
• Abstracts should not exceed 300 words, excluding abstract title. Make sure your abstract is structured to include the following sections (please keep these section titles within your abstract body):
  • Objectives   /   Materials and Methods /   Results    /   Conclusions
• All abstracts and presentations should be prepared in Turkish only. 
• Abstracts submitted after the submission deadline will not be evaluated. 

• All submitted abstracts will be evaluated via "double blind" method with refrees assigned by the scientific committee.
• Abstract evaluation results will be announced by 27 October 2024.
• Accepted and presented abstracts will be published in the congress book and distributed digitally.
